A producer showcase to usher in Spring ! An appreciation for time, nature and a unique individual spirit infuses Jenny Dobson’s wine. After 16 years in France absorbing the traditions and lore of winegrowing, Jenny returned to NZ in the 90s where she has continued to evolve her winemaking in Te Matau-a-Māui, Hawkes Bay. We are lucky to be able to bring you this trio of first wine produced under her own label — each made and named for a beloved family member. Now pouring – by the glass, half glass and bottle:

‘Florence’ by Jenny Dobson, Fiano, 2022
Complex, dry white wine from this rare Italian grape. Think hazelnut, citrus blossom, red apple, citrus + a slate-like minerality. Bold + succulent, perfect with seafood. ORGANIC.

‘Patsy’ by Jenny Dobson, Cabernet Franc Rosé, 2022
Palest blush. A dry + textural rosé. Think red plums, summer peach + a hint of dried ‘herbs de Provence.’ Ooosh.

‘Doris’ by Jenny Dobson, Merlot, Malbec, Cab Franc, 2022
Uniquely aromatic + modern. Note the hint of dried lavender, rose petals, oregano. Black plums + spice. Fine tannins, long finish. Vibrant, intense + fresh. ORGANIC fruit.
