It's May ! New Menu Season !
Dear Beasty —
Our Autumn menu is live and we’re excited to bring you a host of new dishes and see the return of some old favourites in new guises.
From the hibachi there is a juicy Chinese-style crispy skin pork belly dish — we serve this with perilla leaves, celeriac kimchi and miso-mustard….SO YUM. Our Korean BBQ chicken is back, and there are new snacky cucumbers, a light-as-air Japanese shokupan with confit garlic and miso brown butter. Also new to the menu are the cumin + Lamb potsticker dumplings, not to mention the roasted Hapuka with scallop + scampi wontons (above).
The Katsu Sando is back — with crumbed chicken + salted cabbage, house-made Tonkatsu + Japanese mayo, a more petite sandwich than previously, with thick white toast bread.
